I am the author of several monographs, including Le mur et la peur and Aveuglément in the Photo Poche series, Voodoo, Avoir 20 ans à Kaboul, En bas la ville, a book about the city of Port-au-Prince and lastly Traces
My work is exhibited in galleries, museums and festivals. My essays are published in the international outlets such as M Le Monde, The New York Times, Stern, Figaro magazine, L'Espresso, Geo, De Standaard, Newsweek Japan,.... I have been awarded prizes and grants in Europe and the United States.
I am also teaching Photojournalism at the School of Journalism of the Université Libre de Bruxelles and I do lead documentary photography workshops in various countries. Among others, I coordinated long-term training courses for national photographers in Haiti, Turkey and Senegal.
Since 2020, I have also been making television journalistic features for the French & German channel ARTE.
After spending twelve years as a freelancer, I joined the VU agency in 2006 where I was a member for nine years, before creating MAPS agency in 2017. After having been its president for three years, I have regained my full independence and now ensure the representation of my work alone.
